I have been on the permanent faculty of Kyoto Seika University since the School of Cartoon & Comic Art was launched in April 2000, and have been in the School of Manga Production since the program was expanded to a full-fledged Faculty of Manga in April 2006. The Faculty of Manga includes the School of Cartoon & Comic Art (which consists of the Department of Cartoon Art and Department of Comic Art), the School of Animation, and the School of Manga Production. I can answer question about the School of Manga Production, and to a lesser extent about the Department of Comic Art, but I am not qualified to answer questions about the Department of Cartoon Art or the School of Animation.
