Here are links to a few sites that might be of interest to someone who wants to know more about shôjo manga, shôjo anime ("animation"), or manga in general. This page was neglected for a long time, and I finally (Sept 2, '98) got around to weeding out the dead links, but I didn't add many new ones. Over the past year or two I've promised many people I would link to their sites...but now I can't remember to whom I made those promises. -_-; If you would like me to add a link to your site, please send me mail!
English-Language:
- For anything on the Internet (in English, at least) regarding anime or manga,
check out the Anime Web Turnpike. It's
the most complete list of links to online sources, and I'm proud to note that
my site was once featured in "Jei's Web Picks" in the "General
Information" category.
- If you're into, or just intrigued by boy-on-boy stuff (yaoi, shônen-ai,
June, slash), then you must check out Aestheticism.
- Shogakukan Publishing
has a site in English that includes a database of it's manga indexed by title
and author.
- PALM creator KEMONOGI
Yasay (formerly SHIN Tamaki) has extensive English on her site. Check it out!
Japanese:
- The web sites of some publishers of shôjo manga:
- The official home pages of some shôjo manga magazines (no English unless
otherwise specified):
- The official home pages of some women's manga magazines (no English unless
otherwise specified):
- The official home pages of some shôjo/women's manga artists:
